Roster Moves

Obviously the trade deadline has come and gone, with the Jets making zero moves. However, since then, the FO has waived DT Martin Tevaseu from the 53-man roster and released OL Dennis Landolt from the practice squad. The waiving of MTV isn't very surprising, with the rise of DT Kenrick Ellis. Rex Ryan said today that he expects great things from Ellis, so this is probably just a sign that he is here to stay and will continue to man the rotation.

I expect Tevaseu to be signed to the practice squad in Landolt's place, should he clear waivers. As for Landolt, this is probably just a sign that Mangold is healthy, as we saw the last two games, and our depth is, in Rex's eyes, secure with Robby Felix , Vladimir Ducasse, and Robert Turner (when he gets healthy) (edit: Turner is on IR. LG Caleb Schlauderaff is the third backup). Tell us what you think in the comments below.
