It's going to be a very long summer in Florham Park. The Jets fell in Pittsburgh tonight by a 24-19 score. They looked like they were going to be run out of the building after a first half of football that looked every bit as bad as the one they played in Foxborough in December. They put it together in the second half but made just enough mistakes to seal their fate.
Hats off to the Steelers. They outplayed the Jets today.
And so much for the whole Brian Schottenheimer is improved thing.
This might be the most painful loss in franchise history. I know there is quite a bit of competition, but this one is different. In the other games, the Jets were either undermanned and/or would not have likely won their next game. This team was good enough to win this game. It was good enough to go all the way.
Leave your thoughts below. If any idiots want to start trouble, don't respond. Just flag them, and let me drop the ban hammer.
The official recap will be up in a bit.
