Steelers defensive end Aaron Smith is apparently out for Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Defensive end Aaron Smith did nothing more in practice Tuesday than he has been doing, and he will not play Sunday.
Smith has not played since Week 7 against the Dolphins. He is one of the best 3-4 ends in the game against the run. Even had he been able to go, he likely would have seen limited snaps and been rusty.
Now the Jets officially have a backup right tackle, Wayne Hunter, lining up against a backup end, Ziggy Hood.
