Kyle Wilson Inks a Deal

Going into the weekend with training camp in Cortland just days away,  the Jets had signed all but one of their draft picks.

They have now signed all four.

According to Jenny Vrentas and NJ Star-Ledger, the Jets and first-round draft pick Kyle Wilson have agreed to a five-year deal worth up to $13 million, with up to $7.12 million guaranteed and a $1.1 million signing bonus.

The Jets selected Wilson with the 29th pick in this year's draft, a cover corner with a bright future who loves press coverage. He had a very solid minicamp when the rookies took the field back in May, and should be a great fit in Rex's defensive schemes.

Glad to see the deal could be completed. If Revis can get his contract situation squared away, and Cromartie plays like the Cromartie of '07, with Wilson at nickel back and Leonhard/Pool at safety ---- this secondary has the potential to be scary-good.

Congrats to the newest member of the New York Jets.
