The Patriots have reached a deal with their first round pick, cornerback Devin McCourty.
The contract for the cornerback from Rutgers is worth $13.2 million with $7.825 million guaranteed, according to his agent, Andy Simms.
This had to get done for the Jets to sign Kyle Wilson, selected two picks later. It sets the parameters for a Wilson contract since the two play the same position.
