In preparation for his sophomore season, Jets QB Mark Sanchez has sought advice from many different perspectives on how to improve his game and develop into a top-tier player.
According to USA Today, he has now worked out with 4-time Pro Bowl QB Rich Gannon. Gannon's 17-year NFL career encompassed stints with four different teams.
The two spent two days working together, including film study which lasted until 8:00 p.m. and reconvened promptly at 7:00 a.m. the following morning.
"The great thing about Mark is he doesn't just want to be good; he wants to be great," Gannon said, per Jim Corbett of USA Today. "And he's willing to put in the work to get there. He has a very bright future."
The young QB continues to recover from surgery, which is why he has still yet to participate in 11-on-11 drills with the rest of the team.
