The Jets have signed a couple of free agents to provide some much-needed depth to their offensive line. The following have been signed:
Originally signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2009, before being waived Sept. 1, 2009. He played four years for the University of Alabama and started 26-of-38 games.
The 6-3, 302-pound center was a four-year starter at Texas-El Paso. Felix, who earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior, suffered a stroke a few hours after his final college game.
Felix worked out at TEST Sports Clubs in New Jersey before the Ravens signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He was eventually cut and played in the UFL last season.
But for every action, there is a reaction. They have waived two O-Lineman also:
G Keith Buckman (yes, the one who skipped his brother's wedding....)
C Michael Parenton
