Jerricho Cotchery Might Miss Next Two Games

Jerricho Cotchery's groin tear might keep him our for home games against the Texans and Bengals.

"The doctors want to see how I respond to the treatment," Cotchery said. "We're going to take it on a day-by-day basis and go from there ... I feel a lot better than I felt last night. That's a good sign."

 

A team could do worse than having Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards occupy the top two receiver slots. It will hurt, though, as Brad Smith will presumably step into the slot role. That means he'll get more practice reps a receiver and perhaps less time in his other roles.
