MetLife Central is one of the most happening sites to visit at New Meadowlands Stadium. During every home game, they host events, activities and giveaways for Jets fans.
This week is no different. In addition to their weekly festivities such as autograph signings with former Jets players and split-second prize giveaways on the plaza, they will be holding a Halloween celebration this week.
Here are the details:
- Tag along in the "Trick or Treat Trail," parading through the stadium, stopping at different stations along the way for goody pick-ups, ending at MetLife Central (hosted by the Jets).
- Participate in a costume contest on the MetLife Central plaza stage where the winner will receive a prize (for adults: Coaches Club tickets to a future game) and/or join Snoopy and other PEANUTS characters on the field at half-time.
- Take pictures with the PEANUTS characters, including Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus.
- Watch clips of "It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on the big board around the MetLife Central. Countdown Clock.
- Enjoy face painting for the kids.
Yeah, you heard right, LINUS is going to be there! I was always a Snoopy fan myself, but all of them are cool. Rumor is, they are closet Jets fans.
On a serious note, ex-Jet QB Glenn Foley is going to be signing autographs at MetLife Central for fans as well.
