Santonio Holmes says the allegations against him of taking money from an agent in college are not true.
"The allegations are false,’’ the Jets receiver said of the claims by former NFL agent Josh Luchs. "It’s all false."
The potential investigation really won't affect the Jets much. I'm not aware of any rule punishing players in the NFL for taking money while in college. It's not like he has a serious award like a national title or Heisman Trophy that could be lost like Reggie Bush to create a major media firestorm. It will affect the Ohio State football program much more.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
