Rex Ryan seemed to hint at the leaders of a couple of offensive position battles in his postgame comments.
Ryan on Sanchez: "I thought he responded pretty well. It ain’t going to be perfect so sometimes you have these type of nights."
We all know he wants Sanchez to be the starter. If he's willing to see the glass as half full in that outing, my guess is Sanchez gets named the starter soon.
"And I know David Clowney," Ryan said, "I told our team if we had left him in there in the fourth quarter, we would have gotten another one. He’s doing really well."
We haven't heard a whole lot from Rex on the receivers. Pointing out Clowney's success seems to mesh with the reports of Clowney taking the lead in the receiver race.
