The Jets are under .500 for the first time all year. The way these two teams played, it's a miracle the Jets were in position to win at all. The Jaguars looked great. The Jets did not. Ultimately, the difference was Jacksonville had the best player on the field, Maurice Jones-Drew. He had a brilliant first half and made one of the headiest and selfless plays you'll ever see to guarantee a win. What a great player he is.
The Jets probably have to win out to make the Playoffs and have a trip to Foxborough next week. It's just about time to revise our expectations for 2009.
