-The toughest thing to do in the NFL is find a quarterback so if Favre retires, the Jets could have a tough time finding a new starter of any quality.

-The new coachgives his fans some expected yet good news on how his philosophy differs from that of his predecessor.

-Woody Johnson stuck his foot in his mouth and now needs to backtrack. The fact he left the country right as his team started its coaching search sure does not help the perception the Jets' success on the field is not his first priority.
