Tonight is the Pro Bowl, the NFL's take on an all-star game. The game is really anything but an all-star game. Of the players originally picked for the game, 33 are skipping it due to injury, the Super Bowl, or various other reasons.
In any event, there is a game tonight. A team of players drafted by Jerry Rice is up against a team of players drafted by Michael Irvin. It might not be ideal, but it is the best you can do if you want to watch football this Sunday. The NFL has put this game as an appetizer for the Super Bowl by moving it to the weekend between championship Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday. After tonight, the focus on the Panthers and the Broncos will intensify ahead of next Sunday's matchup for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
