UPDATE: Adam Schefter adds a bit of context, and it is good news.
X-Rays on Leonard Williams' knee were negative. Jets think it's just bone bruise and he will be fine but getting MRI done Sunday to be sure.

The Jets defeated the Giants tonight at MetLife Stadium by a 28-18 score. The biggest thing to come from the game might have been the injury to first round pick Leonard Williams. Williams went to the locker room in the first half with an apparent knee injury and did not return. Todd Bowles says Williams will get an MRI tomorrow.

Hopefully this is not serious. This is not just about high hopes for Williams. He has become a lot more important to the team's plans now that Sheldon Richardson is suspended for at least the first four games of the regular season.
