What happened this week?
The Patriots suffered their first loss in a wild overtime game in Denver. The Broncos rallied from a 14 point fourth quarter deficit to take a lead on a 4 yard pass from Brock Osweiler to Andre Caldwell with 1:09 left in the fourth quarter. New England rallied and set up a Stephen Gostkowski 47 yard field goal to send the game to overtime. A C.J. Anderson 47 yard touchdown run in the extra period won the game for Denver. What might be more significant than the loss for New England was Rob Gronkowski suffering a knee injury. He was carted off the field in the fourth quarter.
The Bills suffered a big hit to their Playoff hopes in a 30-22 loss to the Chiefs in Kansas City. Buffalo blew a 17-7 lead in this one. Rex Ryan is coming under heavy criticism for four poor challenge decisions either making bad challenges or not challenging plays he should have.
The Dolphins were blown out by the Jets at the Meadowlands by a 38-20 margin. Miami's Playoff hopes are now on life support.
