Amirite? Surely you aren't burnt out.
So, I keep hearing people say that next year's draft class is waaaaaay weaker than this one. I imagine that has a lot to do with the fact that so many underclassmen declared early this year. Do you guys agree? Are there any pockets of positional strength next year?
While we obviously have no idea who will get hurt, cut, or traded between now and then, I wonder if you guys feel that there are targets we're already looking at, positionally.
All things considered (such as BPA and unknown unknowns) it seems to me that in terms of high-priorities, we'd be looking at:
QB (POSSIBLY, but if Geno fails, this position is back to top-priority)
Obviously there will be plenty of players scouted that we like. I'm sure we'll be looking at more WRs and CBs (especially if Rex is still around). I am just referring to what seem to be our weakest corps.
I feel like we had a good draft this year, but I also feel like while we got better, pretty much every team got better because the first 2 rounds were overflowing with talent. It was hard to miss. It seems that next year's will be much more tricky and take better skill to be truly successful.
