Jets ranked 32nd in...

We all hear the sports analysts talk about where the Jets rank in cap space but why isn't anyone talking about the amount of cap spent this year?

I thought it was interesting when researching the numbers that the Jets were ranked 32nd in the league with the amount in salaries owed with $109 million in contracts...take a look: http://www.spotrac.com/cap-tracker/nfl/

Look at where our division stands with salaries owed:

1 - Buffalo Bills ($143 million)

3 - Miami Dolphins ($135 million)

6 - New England Patriots ($133 million)

32 - New York Jets ($109 million)

They have spent $6.6 million less then the 31st ranked team, which seems to be a significant amount. Do you think this was part of the plan...to implement a substantial cap rollover for future years?
