The NFL draft a four day event; good or bad?

I can see me now; it's an early Sunday evening in mid May 2015. Eyes bloodshot, a four day beard, hair (that I didn't pull out) looks like a birds nest. As I rise from my chair crumbs fall onto the carpet, I get a whiff of something foul; then realize that it's me. I slosh through a myriad of papers that once were my prized mock drafts. I make my way to the kitchen and see my wife for the first time in four days; she looks back at me and shakes her head. "Is the draft over?" she asks; I reply "yea". She asks "are you happy?", again I reply "no". I try an explain all the missed opportunities the Jets could have and should have taken. Before I finish I realize she is no longer in the room; she doesn't understand the importance of the draft. She wonders why I care so much about people I don't know and will never meet. She is oblivious, she thinks Goodell's first name is God Damn from listening to me. I wonder if she is right, maybe I take this draft stuff too seriously; I then have an epiphany. Man is she totally wrong, how are we going to repeat as Super Bowl champions if we don't sure up some areas that we lost during free agency.
I walk back to the "man cave" and retrieve the 27 plates, bowls, spoons and forks that have accumulated over the past few days and dump them in the sink. I tell my wife I will take care of getting dinner (trying to get myself out of the doghouse, if even just a little). I pick up the phone to call the pizza guy but remember that he has been here so often lately that he pull a hammy and told me to call some other place. I pull a pizza from the freezer, "I'll tell her it was delivery" she'll never know.
Ok guys now you know my future if Roger Goodell has anything to say about it. The draft had it's highest rating this year and you know the people at the NFL are wringing their hand trying to decide how to make more money off of it. This years draft picks haven't even all signed yet and there is already talk about moving the draft and making it a four day event. I don't know if Mel Kiper gets paid by the hour, day or word but I'm sure he is about to get richer.
On the plus side it gives our guys more time to analyze how the draft is proceeding and make changes to their plans or make trades(even though Idzik doesn't seem like the trading type). On the minus side it gives our guys more time to analyze how the draft is proceeding and make changes.
I don't know if it makes much difference other than I lose another day of my life. I make fun but actually my wife supports me in my insanity; what a sucker.
So the draft a four day event; good or bad. I am very interested in your thoughts on this matter. GO JETS.
