Every draft prospect has positives and negatives. Even the best has negatives that keep us wary and even the worst have positives for us to get excited about. Some prospects have good vision, some have fumbling issues, some are illusive, some hit hard. What characteristics do you like to have in a prospect or which ones concern you a lot?
I'll go through mine:
WR: Ability to get off the line. I think a huge difference between college and the pros is NFL CBs are more likely to use press coverage and stuff a WR and throw him off his game. It's a big reason I like Odell Beckham.
RB: On the opposite end of the scale, I ignore fumbling issues in running backs. It just seems like an easy issue to fix while also lowering their stock giving you a better value pick.
QB: Pocket Awareness. It shows they understand the game. They know where the pressure is, they have an internal clock. It shows ability to read a defense and I think it sets them up to be successful at the next level.
So what qualities do you like/dislike in your draft prospects? Any that stand out to you?
