Love this website, I cant begin to tell you guys how often I'd be googling, New York Jets news, and just reading a bunch of BS from Manish and Rich. This is my first post so please give any insight if anything looks wrong.
Now I'm not a big college football fan but after hearing Mayock and his perception of this upcoming draft, it got me thinking. Would it be wrong to pick up a OLB/FS in the first such as Mosley if he falls or if somehow Barr falls? Or if we go with Ha'Sean or try and trade back to around 24 and pick Pryor and get a 2nd or 3rd round pick along with that trade down. And in the second we try to pick up an OL? The draft is DEEP in WRs this year. We could pick up Moncrief in the 3rd and I think Coleman from Rutgers is going to be sick, hes a big bodied target but was plagued with injuries and has one of the worst QBs, hes not too fast but he can knock people down. I doubt we leave FA without a WR or two. No way Idzik saw our games and said, wow our WR core is good enough not to worry about picking anyone in FA. This way, we can head back in the direction of becoming a top 5 unit on defense while we are still upgrading our offense. Plus I think there is alot of talent at WR and TE coming out next year so if we take strides in both offense and defense this year, i think next year is the year we contend for a superbowl. GO JETS!
