Greetings, Gang Green! (hooray for alliteration!)
I am just your friendly neighborhood Titans fan, and obviously our two squads face each other this week. The Jets are a surprising 2-1 start and could be 3-0 if not for a few mistakes against the Patriots. We're in the same boat, we could easily be 3-0 if not for a late game collapse in Houston where we lost in OT. Alas, 2-1 is the record, and we must move forward. Someone will be 3-1 after Sunday, the other will be 2-2.
Both teams squared off last season on MNF, arguably one of the worst games anyone has ever watched, for a multitude of reasons. The Titans emerged victorious as I was in the stands watching. Was it worth the $60 ticket to see in person? Uhh ... yeah, of course! A win is a win I guess. But both these teams are totally different from last season, so a much much much better game should be in store for us.
I'm excited to see how our defense attempts to rattle rookie QB Geno Smith. Geno seems to have done an adequate job this season replacing Sanchez (not that hard, I guess). Our defense is much improved from last year as well, so it should be a good battle. The Jets are not a pushover for anyone and I certainly am not over-looking them at all. The Titans can't afford to over-look anyone. It's going to be a good game and the Jets have just as good of a shot to win as we do.
Semantics aside, the purpose of this post is for you to ask me (and possibly other MCMers/Titans fans as the week progresses) questions regarding the Tennessee Titans. I'll answer them to the best of my ability. If anyone would like to post a similar fanpost over at Music City Miracles for us to ask you questions about the Jets, that would be great.
DD be ready for ya.
