The Sports Media is a Joke.........

It is amazing how the sports media loves to go after the Jets, whether if it is print or internet. I realize that Rex and the Jets brought some of it on themselves, but the past is the past and let's get on with actual football stories, not nonsensical talk from an ex-player who could not stay healthy, was ineffective when he was, and has no great resume in the NFL. Now they are doing reports about the tattoo on his back. Who cares !

Now that John Idzik has tightened up things for the media in general, they look to make a big deal over any little thing. It's just a sore loser attitude because the media thinks they can do anything they want because they are the media. I remember when Sal Palantonio kept asking a question he knew he would get no answer to at an early Idzik press conference, but kept on asking and sounded like a fool. Don't these people have any brains at all ?

And now the latest thing is all the yukking it up on ESPN about Brandon Moore retiring, saying that the butt half of the buttfumble has retired. I know it was amusing when it happened, but it was almost a year ago. They should give it a rest.

I'm also glad that Rex has toned down the rhetoric a bit, which pretty much started a lot of what came later on. But all in all I hope the beat writers act in a more adult manner from now .

We can only hope !
