This Week in Tweets: Volume 2

I tracked tweets the entire week so I could give a better breakdown this time around. I had to put the first half of them in blockquote format since tweet format takes up a lot more bandwidth. When I first tried to preview the post, it straight up crashed my browser. I figured that wasn't a good thing. We shall start with practice notes and some quotes.

Disclaimer: The opinions reflected in these tweets do not necessarily represent my own.

Mondays Practice Notes

Not sure how Cromartie can face his offensive teammates after that. He could have really hurt Hill

— Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) August 21, 2013

Not sure if Cromartie hit on Hill was helmet to helmet. Looked like Cromartie may have used forearms to drill Hill high. Gotta look at film

— Manish Mehta (@MMehtaNYDN) August 21, 2013

Offense is having its way with the defense a bit...Geno and Sanchez. Wonder if that played a role in Cromartie's aggressiveness. #NYJ — Chris Lopresti (@CLoprestiWFAN) August 21, 2013

Matt Simms underthrows Hill, but Stephen has a thrill moment. Attacking the ball in the air and making a pretty catch for a TD — Eric Allen (@eallenjets) August 21, 2013

Not breaking any news here but Mo Wilkerson is an absolute freak. A man that size isn't supposed to have his combo of strength/agility. #NYJ

— Chris Lopresti (@CLoprestiWFAN) August 21, 2013

— Kimberley A. Martin (@KMart_LI) August 22, 2013

To clarify: question was, if Geno got 2 or 2.5 quarters and played reasonably well, would that be enough? Lee said, no, would keep going.

— Seth Walder (@SethWalderNYDN) August 22, 2013

Mornhinweg says he has good feel for Sanchez, still learning about Geno. Remember: Mornhinweg has never gone into yr w rookie QB as starter.

Other Jet Things

On Player Concussions

Prisco later makes a point that ACL tears hurt a players wallet more.

Winslow's knee injuries are well documented, and as you may remember, Baker had his career ended last preseason due to what some may consider a cheap shot to his knees. Basically the NFL is dangerous.
