After the draft I was thinking we had a real weakness at tight end. The Patriots had Gronkowski and Hernandez, we had unproven parts. All of a sudden Gronkowski's arm falls off, his back breaks down and Hernandez become Wyatt Earp.
Out of no where Idzik claims Winslow off the scrap heap, Cumby looks serviceable and the Aussie looks like he is learning how to play. It is very clear to me now that this is a strenght that the Jets have over the Patriots. With our switch to a west coast style offense we might be able to score more and control the game better. An upgrade at tight end is important to accomplish this.
Well at least we have that going for us. I am now hoping that Brady has a nasty modeling injury while trying to turn left and blows out an ankle or a knee.
