So pretty simple thread.
1. Who do you think is better right now and why?
2. Who do you think has the most potential to be a great pro?
3. If Geno disappeared at the end of next season and we needed to draft a QB, who, between those 2 would you pick?
4. If we place out of a Top 5 pick, would you be willing to trade into the Top 5 for one of these guys??
I'm a Johnny Football guy myself. I think he blows out Bridgewater athletically, but Bridgewater is definitely a better pocket passer. But I think Manziel should make strides in his passing this year. Hes already a pretty good passer, if he improves I think he would definitely be better than Bridgewater. His play-making ability is really once in decade and you just don't really see improvisation and running ability like that from QBs anymore. RIGHT NOW, I would take Bridgewater for the Jets, but IF Johnny Manziel improves his passing, I'm taking him 7 days out of the week and twice on Sunday. Him and Bridgewaters passing stats were almost identical this year, so if Johnny improves, I think there is no doubt he is the better player.
But honestly, I would LOVE to have either of them on the Jets. I'll hold my tongue because I know ALOT can go wrong in a year, but they both LOOK like they can be Franchise QBs. I think they would be similar to Andrew Luck and RG3 type prospects.
