Can anyone explain to me how Cooper is better than Warmack. Warmack just seems like a better prospect, that played in a harder conference. He was going up against the best pass rushers and he held his own. To me he just seems like a more NFL ready, safer pick. Hes probably the safest pick in the draft. I never even heard anyone talking about Johnathan Cooper until around the combine really. Thoughts?
Now onto my second point. WHY take a Guard in the top 15??? You can get someone of similar quality rounds later so why waste a valuable pick. Ok Warmack is good, but a guy like Larry Warford would be almost just as good and you can get him an entire round later. It just doesn't seem like the quality of interior lineman drops that much as you go down the rounds. You can get offensive/defensive weapons with those 2 top picks so why take an interior lineman?!? Id really rather address the Guard problem in the 2nd round.
