#9 pick: Barkevious Mingo, LSU is a no brainer at 9 for us. People are getting worried that he is a Gholston clone. Mingo started 3 seasons in the SEC which we all know is College Football's cream of the crop. Gholston started 1 year for Ohio State. Plus, Mingo is MUCH more explosive then Gholston ever looked. With his incredibly long 80' wingspan, think how many balls this guy will knock down at the line and with his speed he can get untouched around anybody. I don't care if you are Rex or not, there is no coach who shouldn't love the potential and impact this kid can have in a football game.
#13 pick: Chance Warmack, ALA The safe smart choice at 13. Some analyst say he is one of the best guard prospects to come long in a while There is a chance (no pun intended) Warmack might not fall to us but if he does you have to pick this guy. He is the guy you can plug in the line right away. Then you'd be looking at an opening line of Brick, Colon, Mangold, Warmack and Howard. That is a real solid week 1 line that can most definitely put together some nice, tough seasons.
Curveball #13 Tavon Austin, WV This guy is simply electric and has the potential to be a potent playmaker gamebreaker anytime he gets his hands on the football. He can catch, run , make guys miss and just simply burn you with raw speed. He would bring that exciting element the Jets haven't had since Santana Moss and were hoping Joe McKnight would bring on offense. Impact Player Immediately anywhere he goes in the league.
