Now that Revis has officially seen his last day as a Jet (I hate having to say that), this is what the Jets could do in the draft that would help heal the wound of a trade in which we received very little compensation in return for the GOAT cornerback.
Pick #9: Trade down for Minnesota Vikings' 23rd and 25th picks.
Pick #13: Trade down for San Fransicso 49ers' 31st and 34th picks.
Pick #23: Tyler Eifert
This guy is a stud at TE and will help us fill the Tight End position quite nicely.
Pick #25: Xavier Rhodes
After trading Darrelle Revis, we will need to upgrade at the Cornerback position. This guy should help.
Pick #31: Margus Hunt
Rex Ryan gets his pass rusher. Call me a fan of Hunt, he may be a little raw, but he's a physical freak. I think he could definitely be coached up by Rex and Dunbar.
Pick #34: Zack Ertz
I know, I know, we already picked up a Tight End. However, the idea of having both Eifert AND Ertz is salivating, especially with the recent success of the two tight end set that the Patriots have been able to pull off.
Pick #39: Larry Warford
He will help solidify our offensive line at the Guard position. Could start week one.
Pick #72: Bacarri Rambo
We could fill the need of Free Safety with this pick, and further help out our secondary as a whole.
Pick #106: Zac Dysert
In a weak QB class, Dysert could be a sleeper. He may be able to go into camp and win the starting job, or more likely, be able to sit and possibly come in later in the year if our other QBs falter.
Trade Pick #141 for Chris Ivory
Ivory is a bruiser who can also make people miss. He could help bolster our running game and would be worth the risk of the 5th round pick.
Pick #178: Omoregie Uzzi
Here is another guard who would provide depth along the defensive line.
Pick #215: Marcus Davis
6'4" WR. he could compete for WR depth.
