Ok so its only the first 4 rounds. But here is what I have so far. Keep in mind this is in a scenario where we have acquired at least Tampa Bays #13 First Round pick. Also this includes a scenario where we trade or 5th OR 6th round pick (For the sake of my complete mock, I haven't decided yet).
Round 1- Pick #9- Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Round 1- Pick #13- NYJ Trades #13 pick to San Fransisco for Pick #31 and Pick #34.
Round 1- Pick #31- Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Round 2- Pick #34- Larry Warford, OG, Kentucky
Round 2- Pick #39-Alex Okafor, OLB, Texas
Round 3- Pick #72- Baccari Rambo, FS, Georgia
Round 4- Pick #106- Matt Scott, QB, Arizona
My Reasoning: Okay well for starters, we no longer need to pick a RB at all this year because we will most likely attain Chris Ivory for a 5th or 6th round pick. I'm not exactly on the Ivory bandwagon, but 4 RBs is enough.
Tyler Eifert is going to be an Elite receiving TE and he is a good blocker. I like Ertz more because he is more flashy, but Eifert just seems more under control and will probably end up being better
The next 2 speak for themselves. With Warford we will create a near Great O-Line. Okafor is an excellent pass rusher that will fill a major need for us.Actually, does anyone think these picks could be flipped? Okafor at 33, Warford at 39?
I chose Rambo even though I think Eric Reid fits Rex Ryan's defense better, Baccari is a Ball-hawk, & we need someone who makes plays in pass coverage as opposed to D. Landry who is really just an in-the-box safety.
Lastly, I don't know if Matt Scott will last this long but if he does I imagine us taking him. Idzik had a hand in drafting Russell Wilson and I think he will try to strike gold again with a QB that fits Wilson's mold.
