Well I should have known it would happen. I thought I found a diamond in the rough that we could steal late in the draft. But nooo, now NFL.com features him in an article on TEs.
Two weeks ago he was projected as a PFA/7th rounder. He was only considered to be the 4th best FB in the draft. A week ago he was projected as the best FB in the draft with a 5th or 6th Round Grade. I then did a write-up on him at http://www.ganggreennation.com/2013/4/4/4185136/one-smart-guy-i-want-to-see-us-draft and included a poll asking if we should draft him.
Now today, I discover the whole world knows about him as Josh Norris, a Draft Analyst at NFL.com writes in an article on the top tight end rankings, "7. Kyle Juszczyk, Harvard: More of a fullback than any other prospect on this list, Juszczyk was snubbed by the NFL Scouting Combine, but he was stellar in a lead-blocking role at the Senior Bowl. That willingness to be aggressive at the point of attack was slightly surprising, considering Juszczyk was frequently used as a receiver at Harvard. Projection: Fourth round."
I should have known this would happen, after all, he was a two-time All-American at tight end and H-Back … Three-time All-Ivy League selection. He is strong, and performed 24 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press at his Pro-day. In this Video you can see him break Four Tackles en route to 59-Yard Touchdown.
and he was an excellent pass catcher, who could play all over the field
