At midnight teams can officially talk to the agents of pending free agents. While no official paperwork can be filed until Tuesday, this essentially begins the offseason since there is nothing to stop teams and agents from putting a deal into place. We have been waiting since Week 17 for something to actually happen. Now for better or worse things will start moving, and action is near.

It is difficult to say how much will break in the short run, but if you are up, feel free to use this as an open thread to talk about the offseason and any news or rumors we hear as Friday becomes Saturday. What free agents should the Jets re-sign? What free agents should they target? What are the most pressing issues that must be addressed?
