The Quarterback Conundrum

Its funny but good teams have good quarterbacks while the great teams have great quarterbacks. After watching Sanchez these last two years we have a poor quarterback and subsequently we are a losing team. No matter what players we pick up or who we get in the draft we will not be elite until we fix the quarterback position.

Looking at this draft there are no real Luck, RGIII quarterbacks available. The fail rate on these draftable franchise quarterbacks is very high but the sucess rate of the nonfranchise quarterback taken after the first round of the draft is astronomical.

So how do we fix the mess we are in? Can Morningweig rehab Sanchez. Can we luck out and get a Russell Wilson, Brady, or Rodgers in the later rounds. The only way to do this is to use your draft picks on QB's because if you don't select them they won't be on your team. The problem is we have so many holes that we need to fill that selecting these Qb's will hurt building our team.

So here is the conundrum just like the chicken and the egg debate, what comes first, the quarterback or the elite team?
