Do the Jets have a plan?

After witnessing free agent after free agent move on and the Revis situation stalling I just have to wonder if there is a plan in place. Granted that it is early in the free agency period. However there seems to be trend of inactivity building.

It could be that management has simply given up the season for lost and has decided to build up from scratch. In that case they would just get whatever players from free agency they want to take a look at for the future. And then start filling the roster with cheap young players from the draft. It could mean the development of a team building philosophy, something the Jets have missed since Parcell left and has let to underwhelming performances. I truly believe that Rex is a great football coach, not so much a lockeroom presence. The 09 and 2010 seasons were proof of that. If he finally gets on the same page with a capable GM and puts in place a veteran leadership in the lockeroom then this team could finally achieve the ultimate goal or at least contend consistently.

I really hope that this team finally formulates a plan of attack and stick to a system. If what the Jets have shown for the last couple of weeks if indication of anything it is that either they finally have a plan or that things just got worse and they have no idea what-so-ever of what they are doing.

I would take a lost season if it means that the future is bright. If it means that the Jets can finally come out of being troubled and mocked.
