My former favorite prospect in the draft just may become my favorite prospect again in the draft. Earlier in the post season it came to public knowledge that Jarvis Jones had Spinal Stenosis, a rare spinal condition that could significantly shorten his NFL career, this caused his draft projection to go from a top 5 pick to a late first round or even second round pick.
It's been reported by Craig Brigham, one of the best orthopedists in the country that Jones didn't have Spinal Stenosis but instead had a mild incident of spinal-cord concussion which is what was detected after USC refused to clear him medically, If he has a good pro-day his stock value could skyrocket again. This can mean two very good things: either the Jets draft Jones Healthy or team like the Jaguars or the Lions who are projected to draft an OLB could let someone like Dion Jordan slide to us, either way we win if we draft an OLB first round. Thank You Jarvis!
