With Mike DeVito in KC and Sione gone the Jets need someone to take the grunt in the middle of the D-Line and I think we may have our guy .Knighton has been among the Jaguars few bright spots over the last couple years after being selected in the 3rd round out of Temple.

Knighton has been known to put on extra pounds in the offseason, which can be a concern, but when in (relative) shape, he's among the best run-stoppers in the league. He also can be a good pocket presser.

In game tilted towards passing and stopping the pass, it'll be interesting to see the value of a young, strong run-stopping nose tackle.

With nose about Sione Po'uha cut the Jets management will need to find a younger version to build out depth on the defensive line. Knighton would be a viable option along with Kenrick Ellis, Damon Harrison for future years...

Terrance Knighton played with Muhammad Wilkerson at Temple so this could be a reunion on multiple levels...
