Jon Clayton says Mike Wallace is getting a monster contract from the Dolphins.
And
@ClaytonESPN reports Dolphins give Mike Wallace a five-year deal worth up to $65 million.
That's a ton of money. It's probably a bit too much, but that is free agency. You can afford to pay a handful of players a ton of money. Miami really needed to get Ryan Tannehill some big time weapons, and Wallace is certainly that. He has over 4,000 receiving yards in 4 NFL seasons and averages over 17 yards per catch.
Hearing a divisional rival is getting a homerun threat receiver like Wallace is also not good news when your team is actively shopping the best cornerback in the league.
