NFL Free Agency: LaRon Landry Has Four Visits Lined Up

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Brian Costello says LaRon Landry has at least four teams interested in his services.

Jets FA safety LaRon Landry is going to visit the Colts first and has 3 other visits lined up.

The Landry marriage was one of convenience for both sides. Landry gave the Jets one year of good play at a good price. It was only one year, though. The Jets are going to have a difficult time winning a bidding war for anybody. I'm not necessarily excited to see Landry potentially go, but I also would have reservations about giving him a long term deal. He's pretty inconsistent and has an injury history.

Coming off a year where he went to the Pro Bowl, this is a chance for him to make a lot of money. The Jets cannot offer him that or an immediate chance to win. This is the challenge the Jets face trying to get good free agents.
