Jets vs. Saints Final Score: Jets Win 26-20

The Jets are 5-4. A week after getting humiliated in Cincinnati, the Jets humbled the mighty New Orleans Saints in the Meadowlands by a 26-20 margin.

This is the formula the Jets are going to use to have the most success this year. They ran it effectively, 198 yards on the ground to be exact. This limited what Geno Smith had to do. Leaning on the run game is imperative with a rookie signal caller. So is leaning on the defense. The defensive line took the game over in the second half, and the secondary was opportunistic. The Saints got yardage, but the defense came up big when it needed stops. Special teams was also pretty special. Josh Cribbs had a big kickoff return, and Nick Folk added 4 field goals to stay perfect for the 2013 NFL season.

It's almost a shame the Jets have a week off.
