Last week was a terrible week both for the Jets in terms of their play on the field and also their fantasy value. Moving on from last week, if the Jets W-L trend is an indication, then this game will be more desirable in terms of fantasy production. We all know the Saints have a high powered offense, but their defense has become a viable unit this year under DC Rob Ryan. I am listing Smith as a start this week based on the fact that he may be one of your best options as a bye week fill in. Smith has shown a penchant to bounce back the following week after a loss going 49-82, 763 yds., 5 TD's, and 3 INT's. If this trend continues then Smith should post starting QB numbers this week against the Saints. As you can see from the points against table above, the Saints D yields the most points to WR's. With Holmes ruled out for Sunday, start Hill and Kerley if you have them. They both have flex value this week and Kerley will have a little more value in PPR leagues. I know Nelson led the team in receiving last week but he is not worth a start in fantasy yet. Both Sudfeld and Reuland will see some action on Sunday due to Jeff Cumberland missing the game due to a concussion. Both have little fantasy value on Sunday, seeing how the Saints D lets up 6 pts. per game to TE's.
