Should the Jets pursue a trade for Josh Gordon?

As my first official fanpost I pose a question that I have not yet heard brought up but is begging to be asked.

Should the Jets pursue a trade for Cleveland's Josh Gordon?

Current rumors indicate the Cleveland Browns are continuing to clean house and currently have their troubled wide receiver Josh Gordon on the trading block:

He is an extremely talented receiver with a lot of upside, however his off field issues would definitely have to be considered. He is coming off a two-game suspension and is currently in the NFL's substance abuse program (for marijuana use). Another strike against him and he would definitely miss some significant time.

The Jets are really hurting at the receiver position and the recent injuries to Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill leave us with very few options. One of those being the ever popular Clyde "I can't believe it's not butter" Gates.

Given our current situation, is this something the Jets should pursue for a draft pick or two (and maybe toss in Sanchez for good measure)? Or should they just hang on for the bumpy ride that this season is sure to be in order to conserve draft picks for the deep but unproven rookie class that will become available next season?
