What's going to Happen with Kenrick Ellis?

When Kenrick Ellis was drafted in 2011 we had high hopes for him, he was oozing with potential, today he hasn't really stepped up to the plate and taken Sione Pouha's place, he's been replaced by somebody who could, Damon Harrison.

At the end of the 2012 Season it was quite obvious our NT position was hurting with injuries to Sione Pouha and Kenrick Ellis, going into training camp it was quite worrisome how our run defense would be if Kenrick didn't step up or was injured. Luckily we all know what happened: Big Snacks stepped up and has become an excellent run stopper for us.

My question is: what's going to happen with Kenrick? He's still oozing with the size and physical potential that we saw when he was drafted, and he was learning to perform a lot better thanks to Karl Dunbar. Kenrick's rookie contract ends after the 2014-15 season. What should we do? I think we should trade him. Kenrick still has some valuable potential and can become the formidable force we hoped he could be. One particular team that could be a candidate is the San Francisco 49ers, since the loss of Issac Sopagoa, 49ers have been hunting for a solid NT, I'm thinking Kenrick could make. The 49ers again have a boat load of picks, according to ninersnation they have:

I'm thinking for Kenrick we could get maybe LaMichael James and a 5th or 6th pick from the 49ers, What do you think?
