Adam Schefter says Tom Gamble will interview with the Chargers on Tuesday.

49ers director of player personnel Tom Gamble is scheduled to interview for Chargers GM job Tuesday. Jets eyeing another GM candidate.

Gamble had previously pushed back his interview. Marc Ross and Scott Cohen are set to interview today. Interviewing Ross will put the Jets in compliance with the Rooney Rule, which requires them to interview at least one minority candidate for the position.

Simply speaking with the Chargers does not mean a whole lot. Even beyond Brian Bassett's report that this is pretty much a done deal, other reporters who are not ready to commit to that story indicate the Jets and Gamble are eying each other.
