2. Montee Ball, RB, Wisconson With Shonn Greene a free agent, to me he hasn't shown nearly enough production to earn his money. I let him Walk. Ball can be the homerun threat RB we've been waiting for. Ball, Powell, and McKnight is a very solid group of backs.
3. Brennan Williams, OT, UNC at 6'7 Williams is a big boy. His draft stock was higher but he had season ending shoulder surgery in October. Other then Mangold and D'brick, our line has been on a steady decline. Time to start rebuilding and I think Williams is going to be a very solid pro.
4. Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia Murray had a great year at Georgia. Played a tough SEC Schedule and nearly took down Alabama in the SEC championship. At 6'1 he may not have proto typical size we want, but he has the arm, mobility and smarts. We all know this isn't the year for QBs and it's definitely not worth spending a high pick on one. I'd take a shot on Murray. We need to bring in a veteran and draft a QB and let them compete. If I had my way I'd try to make a trade for Philip Rivers but that seems like a pipe dream.
4 very solid players and very big needs for this team. There's no guarantee these guys will be on the board at the pick time, but if they are I wouldn't pass on any of them.
