Stephen Hill is a free agent in my league. Before the season started, I thought about picking him up, but I thought there were better options at the WR position. However, after last weeks game, with Hill proving that he is more NFL-Ready then many thought he would be, I would really like to pick him up. However, I have no idea as to who I should drop in order to pick him up.
My receivers and their week one fantasy points are as follows:
Starters:
Julio Jones- 22 points
Brandon Lloyd- 6 points
Miles Austin- 13 points
Bench:
Malcolm Floyd- 12 points
Titus Young- 2 points
Alshon Jeffery- 14 points
Brandon Lafell- 12 points
I'm obviously not going to drop Jones, Lloyd and Austin, as they are my top receivers. However, out of the receivers on my bench, I'm not sure who to drop. According to week one performances, Young should be the easy option. However, I think he will be really good this year playing opposite Calvin Johnson Jr. I think his lack of points correlate with Stafford's uncharacteristic game. Floyd is the #1 receiver in San Diego. Alshon Jeffery is expected to soon become the starter opposite Brandon Marshall with Jay Cutler throwing him the ball. Brandon Lafell is the starter opposite Steve Smith with Cam Newton throwing him the ball. Lafell had a good fantasy day despite Cam's uncharacteristic game.
And then there is Ryan Williams, running back for the Cardinals who got me -1 points. Except I don't want to get rid of a running back in order to get a receiver because the only running backs on my team are Demarco Murray, Jamaal Charles, Doug Martin and Williams. I want to try to maintain some sort of balance.
So, Gang Green Nation, I need your help. Should I pick up Stephen Hill, and if so, who should I drop in order to do so?
