Here is part of Curtis Martin's Hall of Fame induction speech. I tell you I was in tears watching this. And I've heard these stories before about how he grew up and how football saved his life. This is not the whole speech; he spoke about growing up and watching his father beat up his mother, the death of his grandmother and aunt, playing football to stay out of trouble, and more.
