Despite the Jets recent trade swap of OTs, I hope they aren't content and take a look at the Chiefs.

KC is deep and young at OL, especially OT. With Branden Albert and Eric Winston as guaranteed starters, they likely have moveable pieces.

While KC is on the phone it would also serve adventageous to inquire about Eric Berry's availabity. Coming off injury, his value could be low enough for Jets to acquire an OT AND a playmaking SS.

It would cost the Jets draft picks, since Pioli likes draft picks, but it would be worth it. Eric Berry is the Truth. He avoided injury at UT so he's less an injury risk and more a victim of a fluke injury. Playing without Berry last season, KC might feel capable of replacing Berry in house.

Berry has the potential and talent to become Rex's version of Ed Reed, even if he doesn't live up to those expectations, Berry would make a great fit for the Jets D. A young man can dream.
