We shared a FanShot yesterday about Rex Ryan discussing his weight loss after his lap-band surgery. (If you remember before that Thanksgiving game against the Bengals, we heard him tell Woody Johnson's wife it was a Johnson&Johnson brand.) Ryan points out that after having the surgery at night, he was able to return to work the next day..
Here now is the video from Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends":

In addition to endorsing the procedure for a "morbidly obese" person such as he was, Rex also talked football of course. He referred to former Jets WR/KR Brad Smith when asked about Tim Tebow's role in the new offense. He also praised Tony Sparano as "The guy that really invented the wildcat or brought the wildcat to the National Football League".
Ryan also reiterated his belief in Mark Sanchez:
...we have our starting quarterback in Mark Sanchez. We feel great about him. And all I say about Tim Tebow is he is an outstanding football player and I think he is really going to help our team
Eagles OL Max Jean-Gilles has also had the same surgery, as well as Rex's brother Rob Ryan, who is the Cowboys' defensive coordinator. I wonder if now that Sparano is with Gang Green, he will end up with a Johnson&Johnson brand lap-band as well. At an Atlantic Health System hospital.
