Chris Long? NaVorro Bowman? John Kuhn? ...even Tim Tebow?
Q: What do these men have in common (Hint: the answer is not 'mildly to extremely overrated')?
A: None of them are as good as some of the "dirty work" players on the Jets. David Harris, Brandon Moore and Sione Pouha are some of the best at their position - but because you don't see them every week on ESPN highlight reels, they get no legit press, and therefore no legit shot at the Pro Bowl or All-Pro nomination.
I'm so tired of Jets players not receiving the respect they deserve on a regular basis. Did it really need to take 2 Patriots going to the Superbowl to even give Brandon Moore his first Pro Bowl nod? And how are Pouha and Harris some of the best at their position in the nation's largest market and still not make the Pro Bowl or All-Pro?
There's no reason for these great players to be disrespected as much as they do, and NFL Top 100 simply perpetuates it.
I don't know if I'm just babbling or if I'm really onto something here - what do you think?
