According to Adam Schefter the Packers have released S Nick Collins. Collins only played in 2 games last season however his body of work speaks for itself with games played and stats before last season. He is another pro bowl caliber saftey who is a bit of a risk coming of a 2 game season but he will come cheaper due to that. A healthy Landry/Collins duo would in my opinion solidify not only our safeties but we will have the best secondary in the league. Major upgrade from Leonard/Smith, this will give us the flexibility to bring Jimmy back as a backup which he said he would embrace and also fill a need so we can solely concentrate on drafting a pass rusher at 16 or even trading up for a top talent.
